Job Title: Business Development Executive

Description
Independently develop new business for the company via prospecting and sales efforts. Qualified candidates will work alongside members of the professional staff to scope and estimate projects, develop proposals, and successfully close new projects and accounts. The position is responsible for developing and delivering new client sales, based on establishing trust and demonstrating value to strategic clients.

Responsibilities
Primary focus on marketing, sales initiatives and business development activities.
- Prospect, develop, and manage sales pipeline for new customer opportunities
- Deliver hardware, software and services solutions to customers
- Meet quarterly sales and revenue targets
- Maintain client relationships and provide regular account management
- Develop proposals, statements of work (SOW), and RFP/RFI responses
- Develop project schedules and budgets for new projects
- Presents solutions to customers directly or through marketing activities
Qualifications & Skills
Information Technology fluency is a must to be successful in this position.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong negotiating skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix, VMware and/or Cisco is highly desired
- Knowledge of Managed Services and IT services is highly desired
- Knowledge of information technology portfolio and project management principles
Experience
Qualified candidates should have experience in new sales development and the ability to build strong business relationships. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to listen to and understand a prospect’s business needs in order to successfully propose a technology solution.
- Bachelors Degree from a 4-year university or college required
- 2+ years experience in an inside sales or prospecting role, technology sales and account management preferred
- 2+ years experience in outbound telesales
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and analytics
- Experience in requirements gathering and analysis
- Experience mentoring other salespeople and/or account managers
